Welcome to Animation Ministry

WHAT IS ANIMATION MINISTRY?

Animation Ministry is a movie ministry primarily aimed at the PG-13 market through high quality computer animation.

WHY USE CG?
Computer animation is finally ready to express what has only been written in the Bible! Now it’s possible to show the fantastic imagery as well as believable characters and environments.

HOW IS THIS MINISTRY?
The purpose is to communicate the Bible to people outside Christian circles as well as our family and friends. Animation Ministry uses film genres like languages similar to Bible translations like, ESV, NIV, CSB etc. to attract specific fans.

HOW BIBLICAL IS THIS?
Animation Ministry presents Bible stories as entertainment, but are still faithful to the source material. First, decisions are made through prayer. The story team, which is a mix of scriptwriters and pastors, strive for a balance in entertainment and being true to the heart of scripture no matter the genre or visual style.

Join with Animation Ministry to bring the Bible not just to cinemas, but to your loved ones. Share animationministry.com if you believe in filling cinemas and screens with biblical stories!

About the logo

Why is the logo so dark?

  • As Christians we are called to go into all of the world and introduce people to the light of Jesus. Also the dark tone is a signal that Animation Ministry is not for little children.

Why is it called Animation Ministry?

  • I believe in challenging our understanding of what animation can be as well as who we minister to.

Why use a weathered, old rock texture?

  • Because God is our rock, he is faithful and loving to us even at our worst.
